Resume
Coming from a family of musicians, there was never a doubt about a career in music for Marcia. With a pianist father who had a dance band and an aunt who accompanied singers, she always had ample opportunity to sing and perform at home and in the community.
Marcia studied piano from age five and studied voice in high school and college. She graduated from Kansas University with a degree in music. Since coming to Los Angeles more than 25 years ago, she has been singing and playing piano continuously in clubs, hotels, at corporate and private events, churches, etc.
After taking a leave of absence recently to play in Alaska on Holland American ships, Marcia is back at the Santa Monica Bistro restaurant where she has been playing piano for eleven years.
NOW AVAILABLE: Marcia's new CD, "Serenade."
